Procurement Manager

Mobile Track Solutions is looking for a motivated individual to join our Purchasing team on 1st Shift.

As a procurement manager on our team you will...

  • Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies

  • Build relationships and negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors

  • Communicate regularly with our supply chain to react to market changes and supply shortages

  • Review and analyze master production schedule for all production and manufacturing needs at MTS

  • Ensure products meet our current and future quality standards by working both internal and external quality teams

  • Manage direct reports, perform performance appraisals, make recommendations for promotions, transfers, or terminations

  • Formulate department goals, strategies, operating policies, and procedures

  • Must work well with all manufacturing, technical and engineering departments

Position Requirements:

Minimum prerequisite education, training, and/or experience required:

  • Supply Chain Management/Logistics or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2+ years experience reviewing and negotiating contracts

  • Experience in Supervisory/Management roles

  • Experience in the areas of Purchasing, Inventory Control and Production Planning

  • Strong negotiating and analytical skills

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office and Outlook

  • High School Diploma
